With an imported Von Brandauerweg grandfather and excellent bloodlines from Craffenheim and De Liemers, Staaldam has done well to breed this beautiful dog! Don't throw away the two champions in my bloodlines...

Wait till you see my pups with Titan in September!

What do you need to know about our Rottweilers?
The really bad and vicious dogs portrayed in adverts and movies are a perception that all Rottweiler lovers desperately want to change. They are very loving, very intelligent and easily trainable, but very dominant and need to be trained from an early age – you cannot leave your puppy all by himself to run your home and property – he will do exactly that! Once trained properly, you will never have a more obedient, protective and loyal dog in your life. They need to be socialised with other dogs and children though, in order to own a properly balanced dog.
There are not different types of Rottweilers, e.g. short leg, long hair, Lion head, roman nose etc. Although their size, height and look may vary, there is only one Rottweiler Breed Standard and we remain within the limits set by the Breed Standard. They are very strong, heavily built dogs, but don’t expect a Great Dane! If size of the dogs are outside the limits, a responsible breeder tries to breed them back to the correct size – not the bigger the better… Females are also considerably smaller and more feminine than the males – don’t expect them all to look the same.
They are not noisy dogs that bark for attention – they only bark when they want to call or warn you and you can immediately hear in the bark when they are uncomfortable. They don’t bark just for fun and to get your neighbours’ hair up!
They love attention, but are comfortable to be close to you without licking you constantly or sitting on your lap – they don’t crave constant attention.
They remain within the boundaries of the area they regard as their own – they are not dogs that stray away from their property.
Tails are not docked anymore!
Once you had a Rottie you will never buy another dog.
The legal stuff...
"Staaldam" is a registered affix. All our Rottweiler puppies are KUSA registered, microchipped, vaccinated and dewormed. Hips and elbows are clear and no breeding restrictions are placed on pups. The Rottweiler Breed Council is very strict and will not allow registration of pups if the sire or dam is too young or the hips and elbows on parents are not clear.
Please visit KUSA for details on breeding requirements. We deem this enough control together with proper screening of prospective buyers.

Matthew, 11: 28 - 30. "Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is wholesome, and My burden is light and easy to be borne."
